Seasoning my new smoker

Well it should be here by this afternoon, my new Camp Chef Smoking Vault :)

Any recommendations on the proper method for seasoning it?


Just put a little vegetable oil on inside walls, some wood in the tray and fire it up for a couple hours at a higher heat than normal smoking
Then smoke away!

I like to use the spray type vegetable oil like PAM or even the off-brands are ok. Just a light coat on the interior should be fine.

Congrats Ron! I'm sure your gonna love it - it practicaly smokes itself.
