Would be interesting to see how grease/drippings are managed? Kinda looks like it would be funneled right into the fire pot.
 
Just watched a YouTube video of this unit, and it appears to be wide open on the bottom, and the idea is that the drippings get burnt up on the lava rocks and/or flavor bars. Anything that gets past them, will be going into, or running over the sides of the fire pot. Seems like something fatty like a prime ribeye, would be a nonstop grease fire. Be nice to get a first hand report or two.
