I am thinking of framing and extension to the top and remounting the cover on it so I can plumb the humidifier from the outside and so I can put a flap covered vent on it without cutting holes. I travel for work and will need to be able to leave it unattended for extended periods while drying.

BTW, It was a hundred bucks and it's only a year old so hopefully it will last a while. I know it came from the big box place and I haven't had much luck with their stuff.

Oh man you're one lucky dude! I've been keeping my eye out for one! I posted a thread a while back and Martin posted his set up using that style of fridge. I'd post the link, but I can't from my phone. Search my threads and you should find it.
