Sausage making from newbie in Kansas City

Although often attributed to Otto von Bismarck, it was actually John Godfrey Saxe who said "Laws, like sausages, cease to inspire respect in proportion as we know how they are made." I've had the opportunity today to actually make sausage, and compared to the current law making process in our nation's capital, I think I much prefer the sausage.

Looking forward to increasing my respect for and knowledge of turning deer into edible delicacies.  Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
