Grocery store had chicken breasts on sale and I remembered seeing something like this on the board.
I butterflied the breasts and marinated them in Italian Dressing overnight (sorry--forgot about photographing).
Next day I stuffed them with Johnsonville Hot Italian Sausage (that's what I had in the frig).
I had to cut the sausage in half lengthwise to get it to fit.
I also had some string cheese left over from the cheese stuffed meatballs.
Next time I will just stuff with lots of cheese and maybe some ham.
And what isn’t better wrapped in bacon.
Also ran out of butcher’s twine and had to resort to toothpicks.
A dozen ABT’s and the left over sausages.
Also made a batch of string cheese stuffed meatballs using a Hot Italian Sausage and ground beef mixture.
