2329g of sliced cabbage. Will add and massage in 2% pickling salt, then cover bucket with lid and airlock.

Nice! Motivational as well, been wanting to do a batch myself. Will it need to be weighed down? I use a Korean vessel with a lid that has a grommet type silicone edge around it that allows you to push it under the liquid and it stays there, with an air release hole as well.

Held under liquid with large cabbage leaves and a heavy plate.
