Good point and way to pay attention... This hunk of meat took longer than I have experienced before to get to 140.Hey David
Nice job on the video. Looks like it turned out great. One thing I would caution you on is that in the video you menton it coming up to 140 at 5 hours. If you are going to inject it the FDA guidelines call for you to get there in 4 hours so you might need to crank up the heat a bit in the beginning
Great video! What camera are you using? I noticed (and appreciated) that your video is in 1080p. This is the first YouTube video I've watched that has had a resolution that high. I finally put my full-HD 24" LED monitors to good use!![]()
When I finish building the the video and save the movie file I chose the largest size, I believe that it why it is an option for viewing.... Cooking such a large hunk of meat lets you cook once and eat many times. Tonight we made Quesadillas for dinner with some of the left over brisket. I have a Sony Handycam, not a HD version but I am real happy with it.
I wonder why it was available in 1080p. I have never posted to youtube so I'm not sure how that works. In any event, you have inspired me to do another brisket as I never do a full packer.
