I am looking for a more reliable source and Variety .. I seen Sams Club has alot of options on meat.. you can get a membership for $45.00 or $100.00 for the high end perks.. does anyone use them or has used them in the past? Pros - Cons ? is it worth the $45.00 ? thanks in advance.

I buy my gasoline there and occasionally some food products so yes it is worth it. If you are just looking at groceries, Aldi's is a much better deal and no membership fee.

I have a bjs sams and my brother has a Costco membership out of the three I like sams and bjs meat the best my sams club is carrying prime cuts of beef I get prime briskets prime strip lions and prime ribeye loins there I have bought a case of pork butts /shoulders there to had roughly 12 shoulders in there around 8-10lbs a pc and paid around 150 for the case if remember correctly over all yes I do like my sams member ship and I think it’s definitely worth it as for out Aldi near me very limited and not the greatest meats but yours maybe different from mine

I don't maintain a Sam's membership any longer, just Costco.
And I'm getting mighty annoyed with Costco's meat dept.

Today I used my FiL's Sam's card to buy some awesome Beef Chuck Ribs. Gotta buy'em where ya can find'em and nobody else had them.

Have had business membership for 10 years and shop there at least twice a month. I would much prefer a Costco, but don't have one around here

I went to our local Aldi, it's a joke as far a fresh meat goes. wasted my time.. I got online and purchased a Sam's membership.. headed there now.

I have had a Sam's club membership for about 10 years. The meat is awesome, great price on poultry and sometimes seafood. My wife buys a lot of items like laundry supplies, toilet paper, etc. I have bought tires and car batteries, clothing items, vitamins, and a lot of other stuff that pops up as a good deal. There has never been an issue regarding quality.
Ask what kind of incentive package they have for new members. My son joined last year and got more on the spot in value, gift cards, and freebies than what he paid for the membership. He actually made money by joining. He even got a free lunch there, and went on an in-store scacanger hunt for prizes.

Siege, the Sam's we have is stocked full of fresh meats and seafood. best spread in our area.. the beef was bright red, no brown or aged meat that I seen.. I'll take my wife next time.

Sams is also great for all sizes of foil pans, lids, to go containers etc. Keep an eye out they always run specials to join for around $25 -$35 and throw you a bunch of free stuff too.

Take your wife ? .....could get scary.
We have a bunch of grandkids and they sell kids clothes. If it's just for meat, I go alone. If my wife goes, I always remember to wear comfortable shoes =) Bought a very nice tv last year in a box with a tear in it. Half off. You never know what you might find.

I got my Vision Kamado there marked down from around $699 to $199 two years ago! I’m always looking for their markdowns.

aldi meat section look okay ?

Aldi's - which I do like - has hardly any meat selection at all compared to Sams Club

Also

Our Sams Club butcher will separate a point from a flat and sell you just the point or the flat - if you call 1 day ahead of time.

I have sam's club plus membership for the pharmacy alone. in our part of Winston it has the cheapest gas too! and as far as meat, they have prime beef ( prime briskets 3.38/#) and overall good selection. to prevent impulse buys for everything else, a couple days before i go, i go online and shop on the website and order everything i need and then go to the store pick up at the front and walk out, takes 5 minutes. you can even pay when you get there instead of prepay. and with that $100 you get a cash reward every year. mine is usually 60-70 dollars which more than pays for the upgrade.

Happy Smoking,

We only have a Sams club here and THAT is 30 miles away. But it is a hit or miss on their stock. No Costco or Aldi's. Most of our meat is Publix retail. Wish we had a local butcher though. I don't mind paying for quality.

as long as a local butcher is fair, i have no problem paying.. i ordered "prepaid" half of a Prime Ribeye one time and it looked choice to me..not near the fat content that there should have been..
The Prime i seen at Sams yesterday was legit.. damn it looked nice..

not a bad mark down. it's in the freezer..
