For those that are new to Sams, next time you are there ask the meat dept about their rack of beef ribs. Mine never puts them on display but they have the quality beef ribs you just can't find. I just started using a pellet smoker but I can't find a better price than the smokehouse blend at Sams but I'm going to experiment with other brands. The only thing I really won't buy anymore at Sams is the boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I don't know if they are too big or what but they just seem chewy to me. I've tried multiple different way cooking them but it's a hard no for me now.

Looks to be pretty regional. Here is east Texas, Sam's sucks big time. Costco is very good. I get pork ribs, beef ribs, pork belly, pork loin, pork butt, brisket, and flank steak. I get dry aged rib eyes, small chickens, and top round from a local butcher.

The chicken wings at my local Sam's are always so poorly cleaned. I don't buy them there anymore. I raid the Restaurant Depot when they go on sale.

We used to have both, but during Covid we started ordering all our stuff online. Sam’s was free delivery, and we got our meat from Wild Fork. So we dropped the Costco membership after not using it for the last 15 years. But in our case Sam’s is a 1 hour drive each way & Costco is about 20 minutes longer. In other words it is a half day or more shopping trip. Our Publix has been selling some Prime meat lately, and it is more expensive than WFF, but I can just buy one steak, Instead of a $35 order.

We belong to both because up north there isn't a Sam's and down south, there isn't a Costco.
Up north, the Costco gas lines are full of Canadians with a trunk full of gas cans, I can't really blame them due to the gas price in Canada. Meats are really good but pricey
Down south the gas is cheapest at Sam's which the savings pays for the membership. Meats are hit and miss but I have had some really good ribs from them
