So I was getting ready to throw some rib steaks in the MES later today. Company's coming for supper--friends and their 2 young kids.
I was seasoning them up and everything was looking good until I got to this one. I'm not just sure how it got past the meat inspectors and it really has me concerned about the safety of serving it to guests.
What do you think?? Would you risk it??

Gary that steak needs to be burned at the stake! Not safe to eat my friend! I’d call a priest or burn it!

Good luck

This proves the meat inspection office has been breached. You can trust them anymore.

Trust my advice....i was born in the lands of Dracula.

Use a lot of garlic: around your neck, with the steak. Also, after you fry the steak stab it in the middle with a wooden skewer. A caraffe of holly wine will ensure the last blow.

Great thread , and funny stuff above for sure . I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot fork .
I did a re-model at Alexian Brothers hospital years ago . Had security takes us to the work area . One of the hallways was blocked off with steel doors and 6" by 1" straps welded across them . He said " that's where that kid got the exorcism , you know the movie the Exorcist was based on it . Nobody been in there since that happened . "

I read that building was knocked down in the late 70s chopsaw.

Did you read it on the internet ? Must be true .
That complex consist of many buildings , and have been torn down and rebuilt ,, I think people get the dates mixed up . The new hospital wasn't complete until 1979 . Some of the old buildings still stand for other use .
I worked there in the 80's . It was not operating as a hospital at that time .

I hear you about the internet chop. Who really knows what’s true out there. Got me thinking so I did a little research and I still ended up seeing that building was razed in the seventies. 1978 it said. And no before you ask I Didn’t read it on Wikipedia. Lol. I Found it on slu.edu.

Either way I’m sure that guards words had you thinking just a bit. I’m sure I’d be double checking behind me the whole remodel.

After posting yesterday I realized my Weber Spirit 300 was calling
