Menards Price per pound is $4.99/18 = $0.28 (rounded up), or 28 cents per pound.

Anything under 30 cents per pound is a good deal. Price divided by the weight gives price per pound.

This helps lol. Good to know it’s insanely close in cost though. I’d go to Lowe’s but Menards is 5 min away so gas costs makes Menards cheaper lol

Royal Oak at my local Menards is actually $4.67 per 18# bag. Double sale this week.
Menards is infamous for their 11% mail in rebate which often includes selected sale items.
Final price is $4.16 per bag

Lowes $4/15.4 = $0.26
Menards $4.16/18 = $0.23

Slim chance I will get to either box store in the near future. Both stores are across the road from the other, but still 30 mile drive for me.

It was probably a glitch in their online shopping system. Lowe's seems to have them alot. Awhile back, their shopping cart allowed you to stack multiple 10% discount codes, and codes could be generated on demand. It was crazy.

And Cabela's offered free next day shipping on my 70+ pound 40" smoker. I thought that was crazy too, but they actually delivered it next day. I can't imagine they made any money on this either.
