Thank you Richie! That's why its a good thing I get home a few hours before my wife, I can dispose of the evidence! The steaks were good but they weren't very thick. The butchers here have gone back to the thinner cuts again. ughhh...
Case I would be beheaded if I brought home a steak with that price tag.The meal looks great Thanks for sharing

Rib steaks are tasty and the marinade paired well with them. Pretty thin though. Unfortunately the butchers are back to thinner cuts around here again. Typically we do the peppers with beans, corn and tomatoes, no meat. I was just using leftovers and what I had on hand. When/if our butternut squash plants in the garden start producing I will add those into the mix.
Ribsteak is by far my favorite Beef. I like the sound of your marinade. The Peppers look amazing, Love me some Quinoa. Try subbing the Zucchini with grilled Butternut Squash. Add some cut Grilled Corn and Black Beans and you have a meal with " The Three Sisters ". You can skip the meat as the combo is a complete protein...JJ
Thank you! Yeah chuck is horribly expensive hear too. Used to grind our own hamburger from chuck, but not no more! Seven bone roasts are just as good as chuck and here they half the price of chuck. Our Safeway had super thin CHUCK steaks, not even ribeyes, for $12.99 per pound... I almost fell over. They had them on sale buy1,get2. That's still 4/lb which is only marginally acceptable. Back in the day I used to buy bone-in Chuck on sale for less than a dollar/lb. I love cash n carry more and more everyday.
Wow! Fantastic looking smoke Case! :points:
I'm adding the roadside marinade to my to do list.
