Ribeye & Porterhouse

This may seem like a strange thing to do, but I did one of each this time.

Reason:
The last time Mrs Bear got Ribeyes on sale for $4.99, she got 7 of them.
And when she got Porterhouse on sale for $5.99, she got 3 of them.

Most of the time it's just the two of us, so this time I threw the 2 Oddballs on the “Q”.

So after a few hours in a Ziplock with Ken's Honey Teriyaki Marinade, on the grill they go.

BTW: The Ribeye is for me, and I get half of the Porterhouse on day 2.

Enjoy,
Bear

Oh my, you hit the perfect sweet spot on that medium rare....good job. Rarely see Porterhouses in this neck of the woods but, luckily, the Costco here will occasionally have some ultra thick T-bones in the case. Hope all is going well for you.......Willie

Thank You Willie!!!

I think I'll forget about looking for Porterhouse, because these were the cheapest ($5.99) I've seen in years.

If I can continue to get Choice Ribeyes and Prime Rib for $4.99, I see no reason to pay $5.99 for Porterhouse.

Ya know we are going to have to change the old saying  from." Does a bear %^&* in the woods?", to answer positively to "would you eat at bears house?" Ya dang skippy I would!
