Injected a couple racks of ribs with Blues Hog pork marinade mix, after a rest sliced the ribs and used Wild Willy’s Rib Rub on one rack, and Twisted Steel Sultry Smoke Rub on the other.

After an hour around the Vortex the ribs were probing tender and ready.

Ribs were excellent and both flavors were each very good, will be using both again!

Thanks for looking!

You are killing it with the set up. I want to give it a go. Looks delish. That’s A lot of salt on the ground 😂

They look great! I’ll have to give that method or similar a go sometime. More surface area for the rub for sure

Third time I've seen Vortex ribs lately and your look perfect! I think I'll be copy-catting that cook this week, can't pass on that. RAY

Curious if you turn them or is that not needed

Look great again, you have them dialed in for sure. I could chew on a few of those

And I also love doing singles, more real-estate for more coverage of the rub and cook crust :emoji_yum: :emoji_yum: :emoji_sunglasses:

It's still not Q'ing weather for us big wussies in the Northeast, but I'll be trying those Vortex ribs out when Mother Nature decides to play nice. Great Job Marty

Point for sure
Chris

Those look great I am going to have to do this on the kettle. Where those st. Louis spares?

Lower 30s here yesterday with strong winds. I'm claiming wussface status.

Chris
Sorry for the hijack Marty

Nope, leave them right where they originally were set. Every 15 minutes rotate the lid a quarter turn. Not sure if it makes the cook chamber heat cook more evenly, but I know it hurts nothing!
