I've noticed the last couple times I've grilled that I can't get the heat above 450. It's set to full and I'm running the Kingsford pellets. Any ideas would great... Thanks

hmm, I've never set my RT700 above 450. All I an think is change pellets and or take a probe temp in a few places and see what readings you get.

Is it cold or overly windy? have you got it to 500 before?

Make sure your fire pot is good and clean. It can get a build up of non combustibles with certain pellet brands and moisture content. It is a air/fuel combination thing. The auger could be struggling if pellets swelled in the auger tube as well. Just a little struggle with pot volume or lack of fuel will do it...

Week after some research I found that I was wrapping my drip pan to much with aluminum foil

Oh yea that will do it. RT recommends to not wrap the foil around the long edge but fold it back over to the top......

I had a R 590 for two years! Foil the drip tray or not it didn’t make a difference no matter what I tried it wouldn’t ever get above 425. Same with pellets and finally got tired of their CS giving me the run around and sold the POS and bought a Yoder 640 and now 600 degrees is easy now if needed.
