My CharBroil gas grill was pushing four years old and it was showing it's age and heavy use.
Living on the Gulf Coast in a subtropical climate with high humidity took it's toll and the main firebox, burners, crossovers, burner tents, infrared emitters, and propane heatshield were rusted out or nearly so, and a broken ignition switch too.

So I placed an order for spare parts and CharBroil CS was excellent.
Order was fulfilled, shipped and delivered as ordered in three days.
One BIG box arrived on my doorstep Thursday and today was rebuild day.

Four years of grease-n-grime, creosote buildup in places that don't get cleaned and rust made disassembly a challenge in a few spots.
I had to take the Sawzall to a few bolts/screws that even Kroil and Liquid Wrench weren't coaxing loose.
That and when I assembled it I made sure everything was well snugged up, gnat's arse meets 50gal drum tight.
Lesson learned, finger tight plus a full turn, don't over tighten and life will be easier in the future.

A couple hours and I was finished.
And oh what a difference it made, its like a new grill.
Fires up faster, beautiful blue flames and burning much hotter and evener across the entire grate.

Bought it new for $500, put another $184. into it just to keep it another four years +/-.
Sure would've liked to have bought a new $1000.+ grill, but the wife wasn't having any of it.

My SiL just arrived for an extended stay and trip to DisneyWorld with my wife-n-kids.
She brought several boxes of Omaha Steaks with her, Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon and more.

Yeah, a good chance of some Qview from the grill tomorrow. ;)

That's what I like about Weber grills, parts are readily available & you can keep them going for years!
