Hey guys and ladies, I've owned this smoker for I don't remember how many years before it actually had a fire in it. (Ribs) that for my experience at ribs turned out pretty well. I have a brinkmann smoke'n pit that was a gift from a good friend. I had no experience with smoking and besides I know I didn't handle my wood as I needed I did have problems keeping my temp where I needed it. Hoping to make some good friends and learn everything I can from the people here. I wished I'd looked and found this earlier but the plan to do some grilling and smoking this Labor Day got me on track again. Got a whole chicken and a slab of spare rubs waiting for me to come home in the morning. Yeah the life of a firefighter. Waiting to get off
