i got in on the pre buy few yrs ago.. it works very good. example, i have a 2 burner smoke hollow, i use one burner lots of times. now when i cook i fill to freeze a few pounds. the side with burner running is 15 degrees higher, i switch burners and ambient temp reverses. and with my new galaxy s21+ i get excellent range. even without using cloud.

I'm really liking my Meater. Very useful tool and fills a gap, but it's not without its faults.
1. Reception is limited once inside double wall insulated electric smoker
2. Wrap in foil and reception goes away.
3. I despise apps that require me to turn on location services for the device to operate!

Otherwise I'm lovin it!
