Its been 30 years since I did any smoking, but recieved a Masterbuilt electric for X-mas.
In going thru my left over stuff-yes I still have stuff from 30 years ago- I found a box witha plastic bag marked quick cure. It is yellow in color and about consistancy of table salt. Can any of you tell me what I might have as I don't always remember yesterday let alone 30 years ago?
Thanks

I'm thinking if it's 30 years old, it could have turned yellow & used to be white.

I would toss it some place no human or animal could get to it.

Tender Quick is white----Cure #1 is Pink.

Garbage throw it away, if it held up for 30yrs. I can only imagine what chemicals are in it. JMHO
