I'm just getting over a cold and don't feel like making something that will take a lot of effort to make.

I don't now if every Walmart has these but mine does in the deli section. Pre-made, not cooked but not frozen pizzas. I had passed by them for years without giving it a thought but a couple months ago I thought I would give one a try. there are 5 varieties and two sizes.

Here I picked up and extra large pepperoni for under $8.50.

We can't just leave it like that. I had cup up some veg to add onto it. Since the pizza is not frozen the veg will cook perfectly.

Veg + Italian Seasoning + red chili flakes and a little more Mozzarella to make everything stick.

15 minutes later it is ready to eat. This isn't the best pizza in the world but it sure beats Dominos.

Those are not bad pizzas, especially for the money. And I always "step on them", at least with pickled jalapenos.

Try the flat bread pizzas, they are better. Same deli case. We used to keep them on hand as a regular thing but trying to cut back on the carb loading for a while.

Yuppers we renovate those a lot. Start by scrapping off the cheese, and adding more sauce. Then just go to town with whatever fix'ins you in the mood for.

Point for sure

We have become huge fans of take and bake pie. Papa Murphy's is our goto. They are franchises so IMO some are better than others. We had two: one in Evergreen and one in Conifer. the evergreen one was never as good as the conifer location...and the evergreen one closed recently (go figure).

Their specials are real cheap and then tho some jalapenos and on and done.

We have one almost every Friday just to take a day off of cooking and cleaning.

One thing I forgot about is the previous pizza I had drizzled a light amount of honey on. I had seen it online and it definitely made the pizza nicer after it was cooked. The honey had hardened since then and I didn't have time to soften it up for this one but it is definitely something to consider.

we used to have a pappa murphys but they didnt last but a few years. not sure why i thought it was a great idea. we bought several!
