Question on the Mahogany Fibrous Non-Edible casings

When I stuff these I generally poke small holes in them to get the meat as tight as possible.

Is this OK or is it better to NOT put the small holes in them.  I use a stuffer and don't seem to have an air issue.

Thanks for the help ... I tend to agree - no holes - and that is why I asked.  I will NOT do that again!

Some (not all) Mahogany and clear non edible have very very small holes in them done while making the casings. I have found the holes close to the seam areas.

You should try some cloth bags....OH YEAH

What?? I have never seen anything like this...This is cool...where did you fine these ?? Are they reusable or do you just throw them away??  Another rabbit in Nepas's hat......
