I am working on a sensor to alert via txt message that the pellet hopper is low.  This would be using a sonar sensor stuck to the under side of the lid, and would have a programmable depth for when to set off the sensor.

I know that GMGs and Traegers are single hoppers, but the from the photos it looks like the RecTec is a dual hopper.

RecTec owners,

Is this a true dual hopper or does it just have a brace in the center?

Other non-GMG/Traeger owners,

Is yours a single hopper or does it have multiple hoppers?

On another note If I were to add meat and grate probes to my systems, how many of each type would you like.

Thanks all for your help.

Troy
