My brother came down this weekend so we threw some ribs on the smoker. Put on two racks of baby backs, and cooked about six hours. This time I decided not to foil them and smoked them all the way through the cooking process.

Here is the qview.

Excellent... nothing better than ribs and family.... Thumbs Up

BTW.. how did you like the naked (no foil) ribs ??

They look great! Can't see any pull back from the bones was there any?

I honestly didn't notice much of a difference in the taste. It's all about the tenderness for me. You can change the flavor with the rub and sauce, but if a rib is undercooked no sauce or rub will make that better.

Nice, They look great

Nice job with the ribs!

They look awesome!

Nothing better than sitting around the smoker with family, smelling smoke & having a beer and eating ribs!

Thanks guys, they were great. I can't wait for warm weather to be able to do it more often

With all the nice stuff made by folks on this site, ribs are still The King! Yours look really good!
Looking for nicer weather, myself.

Dan, thank you. Ribs are my favorite thing to smoke. I see your in Indy, on the same parallel as me. Weather is getting better, hopefully just a couple more weeks.

Yeah, mkriet, that old I-70 line. We share the weather, just a couple hours difference. This is the frustating time; it's warming up, but rain rain rain...[emoji]128529[/emoji]

Have a rack in the fridge now covered in Jeff's rub waiting for Smokin' Saturday, hope they come out as good as yours.

Darrell

p. s. all so on the I 70 line!

Good luck with your smoke. Should be a nice day for it. Hope to see pictures.
