Purging a natural gas tank

So I just picked up 78.7 gallon cng tank and I am not sure how to prep for cutting. Is it the same process as a propane tank or do I need to do something different?

Same as propane.

Use lots of caution, don't cut corners on the prep, if you think it's not right, don't do it, stop and ask someone.
