So the plan for Friday nights meal was burgers cause who doesn’t like a nice burger for Friday night after a long work week......

So I get home and the wife says so sorry we aren’t having burgers......and I’m thinking oh snap it’s a frozen pizza night......

Then she said oh no burgers cause these were the same price as the burger!!!!!! Bam bam 5.99/lb

The Friday night burger make up meal! Always nice to have the wife’s home made caesar to make it complete :-)

.....sorry I don’t know how she makes the dressing but I know it had Italian parm, garlic gloves, and anchovies......I just eat it!

Looks like a great Friday meal for sure.

Love a good tbone!! Those look delicious!

Thanks jcam! It’s just hard to pass up at the price....

Looks like a great Friday meal for sure.

I see Kroger had T-bones for $5.97 / lbs. this weekend. I may have to have one myself :)

In my view that’s a no brainer! Beef is what’s for dinner!

The Porterhouse were a no brainer at that price. Less work than a burger, too. Win - win.

Everything looks great.

Yea the wife done good! Yes way less work! To be honest the Caesar dressing was the hardest part...over all time one hour including the preheat on the oven!

Motocrash thanks for the like! Much appreciated!

That’s a damn fine meal.

Love the sear and juicy pink on the inside. I see your using grill grates, did you do the steak on a pellet grill? Just wondering what temp you set yours at?

I bought some grill grates and really like them.

Nice looking and tasty plate from my vantage point.

Point for sure
Chris

Them look like porterhouse to me. It's funny I see them at the store occasionally marked as T-bone, but the filet side being as big as they are tells me that they are porters...

Nice cook, Steak baked potato and salad, favorite meal in the world. And if in season corn on the cob!

Thanks! The grill grates are on a 16 year old Webber gold. The Webber has had 3 full guts rebuilds. When I got the grill grates the old Webber SS grates became the grates in my mini smoker (my first build).

The Webber is close to its 4th guts rebuild but I do love the grill grates. I also use them turned over as a sear plate as well.

It was pretty dang tasty. The wife eat her portion without a sauce and that’s when I now the are juicy and sweet!

Looks perfect! Aren’t you glad you didn’t have burgers. Nice job!
