Planning on doing a 6lb pork butt for pulled pork. Its supposed to be 14° tomorrow. Should I try and run my pellet grill or just throw in oven. Any thoughts let me know. Thanks

I just did a chicken in same temperatures
on my cheapo electric. It stayed 265 275 for 3 hours.. You should get that out of the pellet pooper.

Looks like many are doing PP; me as well. 23 degrees here, and I'm planning on using the SRG, which is my favorite pulled pork cooker because it is so fast.

I say fire up the smoker and give it your best shot, and then if need be, you always finish in the oven.
At least this way if it doesn't work out at least you have put some nice BBQ smoke flavor on that butt.
Good luck, you can do i!

Got 2 butts, 3 racks of ribs, and will have 2 flanks in my MES shortly. Barely 20 degrees out but the MES is holding 225 no problem
