Prayers sent to you and Ma Dutch! Hang in there brother, went through it with my father. My middle sister and myself lucked out and it skipped us but now my little sister is having problems and they are watching it closely.
SMF Family-Thank you for your thoughts, well wishes and your prayers.
I know that together we will get through this. Ma has her worries but she's more about the two lad's that will have to fend for themselves for a couple of days (they're 24 and19). I keep telling her that the pantry, the fridge and freezer are all well stocked and they both know how to cook.
She is noticeably less worried about the upcoming surgery and she has met several people that have gone through what she's going through and they have been telling her what minimal effect that the surgery has had in their lives.
Well, today's the day-Ma Dutch goes into surgery at 1:30 P.M. (MDT). Surgery is expected to take 1 1/2 hours and then into recovery. They will keep her in the hospital for 24 hours and then we'll come home.
I've printed off these two pages and given them to Ma. She is humbly touched by all of your thoughts and prayers and wanted me to pass on to all of you her thanks.
Thanks once again from me for your prayers and support.
