Thanks, I was pleased.
The reflector seemed to work as the toppings browned nicely. Two problems: The thing is way too short, I can fix that. The other is no way to shut it down. It just has too burn until the fuel is exhausted.

Your rig looks and performs great from what I can see in the pictures.

Regarding extinguishing the coals. . . . You're pretty handy with the metal work. Would making a plate to cover the front opening and then placing the Weber dome lid over the raised rim work?

Or, lift the stainless rim off and then place the Weber dome lid back on with all the vents closed. Of course that is if the stainless steel rim lifts off easily.
