Man I a broke a** college kid. I would buy the 5 for a $1 mac and cheese. I big day was using milk and butter. Payday was adding cut up hot dogs. Those times made me strong.

Oh the memories. I had a well paying job in college so could afford better meals and going out on the weekends. Had a housemate that lived on the 10 for a $1 boxes. He could afford milk, but added sliced carrots. Periodically he would add sliced hot dogs and not quality dogs either.

I dehydrate my own for my backcountry trips.
Simple, easy, effective.
Notice I didn't say...."I enjoy them on my backcountry trips."

It works. And after a few long days on the trail or the canoe seat, it seems to take the gourmet critic out of the best of us.
