I find myself loving pork tenderloin lately. So I’ve been making it a lot in various ways. Today was to try out my Weber kettle baskets. Originally I was going to slow cook them but then at my son’a cross country meet there was a large firepit with chickens going so I needed to play with some fire.

I filled one basket and removed about 10 coals. I lit the coals and then dumped them back into the corner of the basket. Threw on some mesquite chunks and let it come to temp. Rubbed one down with a buffalo rub I made and then one with a Caribbean mango habanero rub.

Indirect to 135 then over the basket to 145. These will make good eats for lunch this week.

Hell yeah those look great! Love grilled/smoked pork tenderloin. I think it gets overlooked a lot. When I find them BOGO I jump on it!

:emoji_flushed:You had me at:

It was just a generic store brand but it is really great on pork and chicken. A good heat.

Agreed! I just stocked up last week, so I'll be looking for more opportunities to cook em. I think bgaviator gave me my next reason!
