I used to see tenderquick in some of the grocery stores around here, but haven't seen any on the shelves in awhile. I have plenty of cure#1 on hand though, so I'd rather use what I already have.
I understand. Recommend if you see a bag, grab one or two. Very versatile and effective. Often it is looked down upon by some as not a "real" cure.

I have TQ, cure #1 and 2 as well as salt petre. All have their safe uses if utilized correctly.
