I just made my first Back Bacon a couple weeks ago from a pork loin I bought about 2 months ago at $3.97 kg ( $1.80 pound ) and like I was told I should get some more started as it will not last . So I have been looking. The same loins I used are on sale at our Wall mart for $10.99 kg ( $ 4.98 lb ). so i'm still looking. Thank god I have some belly in the freezer to try my hand at it because it is way up there in price right now also
