Ha Ha, Moe made at least one episode, from the local rag

TLC’s competition show “BBQ Pitmasters” will feature a Des Moines man this season. Marlando “Moe” Cason is a water treatment officer who vies against three national barbecue teams on the season premiere airing 9 p.m. August 12 on TLC.

Moe owns Ponderosa BBQ and calls himself the “Ultimate 380 lb Underdog” since Ponderosa BBQ was one of the highest ranked teams without a grand championship last year. Check out his audition video below.

If Moe wins the challenge on the first episode, he’ll move to the grand finale (episode 6), where he’ll compete for the grand prize of $100,000
