Get yourself a Maverick wireless thermometer.  one that will monitor the temp of your grill and food (all in one)..  you can set your low and high temp range alarms for the temp inside of the grill as well as the an alarm for desired temp of your meat..  AWESOME tool.. helps me sleep at night and keeps me warm in the winter so i'm not running out to the grill every 1/2 hour or so...
