It has been a long winter here with little rain or snow. A couple of hours ago I looked out the patio door and saw this while reading the forums and thought I would share it with you.

The last 2 were what I call the light show of the sunset reflecting on the windows of some homes many miles away, haven't seen that since last fall.

Maybe things will start looking up for everyone.

thanks for sharing Ron , rainbows are nice ... I can't wait to see some of that stuff in your pics .... I think it's called grass

Thanks for the pics Ron. Brings back memories of when I lived in Arizona.
I still regret that I wasn't smoking back then, weather is a lot more cooperative on a year round basis compared to Jersey, damned 70 degrees one day and a blizzard the next...

6" of snow here and you show rainbows? I need some heat here in WA.

man Ron you must be making some killer q to need that perimeter fence, a little concertina wire and I would have thought you were in prison

I think if I squint really hard, I can almost see Rudy's. Nevermind, it was Quarters. I'm going to stop squinting now. That stuff is so bad it'll make you go blind.

I live here 12 years and never tried either of them. I have had a few people tell me mine is better though.

I lived there 1 year and enjoyed Rudy's at least 2x a week while there. There's one just down the hill from you on Coors S of Alameda. I haven't had it since I started smoking, but remember it fondly. Quarters was by the Cottonwoods Mall (behind the credit union N of the Mall) and was awful. The ribs were so tough you had to gnaw them off the bone and the sauce was 95% vinegar.

Give Rudy's a shot some time. There are two in Abq. As I remember it, Smokehouse (off the 528, not far north of Intel) wasn't too bad, either.
