I'm getting my very first smoker, I know I want the ability to use coal and or wood. My question is Off Set Vertical or Off Set Horizontal.
 
I have about a $400 budget and want the least amount of Mods, recommendations.
 
Both the Off sets lose, I'm getting a http://www.weber.com/grills/series/smokers/smc-smoker-22  tonight if in stock.
