Dinner night with friends Last night. I had been telling them how good that Seared Ahi Tuna steak was and my friends wanted to try it out. Served with sticky rice; grilled red bell pepper, yellow squash and zucchini.

But first up- the board: Calabrian Salami, Veneto salami with Parmesan cheese...

Veggies prepped for the grill...little Olive oil and Cavander's greek seasoning...

Veggies onda grill...

The fish cooked so fast, no time for a pic. on the grill. Here is a plate shot when I pulled them off. (@Steve H One fillet cooked to order pink center. Pulled at 130*F instead of Ahi)...

Was delicious! Rave reviews. Now they want it on the rotation for dinner nights! LOL! Served with a nice New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc white wine.

You know we love our seafood around here and that tuna looks great! I'll take mine pink in the middle, too...

All looks great. Amazing board as usual and I'll take my ahi rare. I've been eating the heck out of zucchini since I can grab 20 lb cases for $15! Eat it almost daily. Gonna grab a case of yellow same price too.

We just had our first zucchini salad this year yesterday. One of my favorite salads. Soon, I'll be marinating. Grilling some. That and grilled corn on the cob.

Now that's a great looking meal. I'll be right over!

Looks damn good! Love tuna! It's our favorite for tostadas, just like it a tad more on the rare side like this:

Thanks civil! They are good friends. And I plan on eating this more often for sure!

Nice plate there. I went 1 minute per side on a 450*F grill, how long was that fish seared?
Did these on a stainless Viking 3 ply pan using a little grape seed oil for lube with an induction burner set at 500° for about 30-40 seconds a side. Looking at yours again, they look a bit closer to the rare finish than I originally thought....the redness from the sriracha makes it deceiving.
