A few of us were complaining about the temps of -20, -30 or more. Well seasons have changed. I've been requested to grill a tri tip with the feels like at 106. Feels like a few months ago i was grilling and it was -20. I hate this bleeping state. Getting started. As the temp goes up, the beer quality goes down. Actual temp 93, more humid than Florida right now though.

Wasn't complaining about freezing temps over the winter.
After a couple months of fairly decent weather, I am not liking this current high humidity AKA Florida conditions. I need to get acclimated
We had a huge storm blow through last night. Lost a few Ash tree limbs in the front yard. Lost 2/3 of the top of a Maple tree in the backyard along with a major limb off another Maple tree.
I'll post photos

Saw that. Looked like it got a bit rough there overnight or late last night. Hope everything is safe for you.

Yep, us northerners are acclimating! Supposed to be a heat index of 105 for us tomorrow... thankfully it's been windy and makes it bearable! Nice looking cook ya have going!

We are all good.
It was tough all around the area. Son is Fireman in Bismarck and he said they had 15 calls mostly for trees over power lines.
Daughter lives in Fargo and they spent 2 hours in the storm shelter area of the base floor of her apartment building due to area tornado activity.
I slept through the storm. Wife did not and was up much of the night.

Here is what I woke up to this morning.

Lost a couple of limbs off the Ash tree that I have been telling my wife for 10 years it needs to come down. She finally agreed to take it down today,

This one of 3 Maple trees in my backyard.
Photo doesnt show the full damage. Tree closest lost 2/3 of the top limbs. Cut off the broken limbs this afternoon. Will take off the remaining limbs and fall the trunk tomorrow.

All I did this afternoon was push mow (with a self propelled mower, no less) this little spot around this swing contraption my wife just had to have and was wringing wet. Damn, it was hot!!

An old pic ........ it has swings all the way around now.
