Hello, recently got my first smoker after seeing and eating the joys my friends have been creating for years. I live in Madison Ohio, married, 3 grown children. I'm an avid outdoorsman and like to spend my summer weekends I'm off with the family at our camp on Chautauqua Lake Ny. I found this forum this week and am very impressed with the info and the overall generosity and good vibes from the posts i've read thus far. Glad to be aboard and I'm sure i'll have questions down the road. My smoker is MES 30" with solid black door I bought at Field and Stream in Erie. Not sure what gen that makes it. So far Ribs and poor mans burnt ends have come out decent for me with my 2 attempts.

Welcome from the NC Ohio! I picked up so much more when I started posting. Agreed, great board!

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a muggy wet day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
