That's what I do . I scald the bourbon first , and use red wine vinegar . I still keep it in the fridge , but it seems to last forever .. I might have to use vinegar and whiskey in the ingredients as preservatives.

I've found doing that one at a time lets me know what I don't like . Lol .We'll see how it tastes after I add the rest of the ingredients later in the cook.

I agree. It tastes good for a sugar substitute for sure. Doesn't bother my wife and daughter at all but it gives me the green apple quick step. Took me a bit to figure it out. Apparently it has that effect with some people.Erythritol is good, but it really gives me gas.
