For those of you that have been to the falls in the summer. Will know that it is very crowded. And hard to even get near the rail at times.

We saw about 6 other people. Not including a dozen or so park workers. It was...strange.

It was very peaceful.

Wow, enjoy the exclusivity Steve, I think that'd be wonderful! Probably be different on a weekend. RAY

Did you see Rod Serling? :emoji_astonished:

It would have been fitting....
It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

That is just plain spooky Steve. I was there a few years ago during the summer and like you said, it was PACKED!

I've been there many, many years ago and it was jammed with people. I prefer this, what you are seeing today. Nice. Very Twilight Zone ish. LOL

They are also a sight to see in the winter when frozen over, and in the spring when they take out the ice boom, depending how much of the lake is still frozen over.

About 8 years ago it was the best I've seen. Huge ice formations. I need to dig those pictures up.

Yes, we went there several times, took "The Maid Of The Mist" boat tours, and enjoyed a cookout in the adjoining park, eating Hofmann Franks with their signature mustard from Syracuse, NY!

Enjoy your stay and nice pictures! Looks like a beautiful day.

I was there about 10 years ago on the US side. It really does look surreal seeing the place so empty.

Very strange! Oddly enough, I've been on the Canadian side a couple of times, but never on the NY side. I now live dead South in PA, about 3 Hours away. Might be worth a trip with no crowds to mess with...JJ

Great Pics, Steve!!
We were only at the Falls once, about 40 years ago.
WE visited My Sister, who was living in Rochester, with her husband & 4 kids, so Mrs Bear & I took Bear Jr for a ride to the Falls. Pretty Neat Place!!
