Just joined....have been researching and buying my first smoker this weekend----Smoke Hollow Pro PS-44.   I'm 60 years young and live in Southwest Ohio.  I've been wanting to get started for some time, and anxious to get to it.  I already plan to add the sealing gasket to my door, have already bought the Maverick 32 thermometer, the 0-10 regulator with needle valve, and expect to replace my chip pans with something a little more sturdier.

Planning on brisket, ribs, chickens. and shoulders.   I grew up in Western Kentucky.....so I have a taste for BBQ shoulder and ribs.

Love the forum.....will try to keep up with all blogs........Paperboy
