Hi everyone!

I was getting hungry for wings again, so on Wednesday I defrosted some party wings and Thursday afternoon my wife put them in a 9x13 glass cake pan with a butter brine, covered them, and put them in the refrigerator.

This is the butter brine

1 cup of vinegar
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 1/2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons of salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

This is the sauce recipe.

1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
Combine and bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes

They sat in there until this evening (Friday) when I got home from work.

I put them in my new grill rack (thanks @Steve H 😁 ) and out to the grill we go.

Weber kettle grill set up for direct high heat, I usually turn the chicken every 3-4 minutes, and every time I turn it I spray it with the leftover butter brine, right up until I put the sauce on.

My 19 month old daughter came out to supervise the cook…😁

20 minutes or so in, and ready for sauce

Coat both sides with sauce.

My wife and I both really like when the sauce is pretty well blackened , put you can pull them off whenever they look right for you.

Let them cool on a platter for a few minutes…

And dig in!

That is oven roasted green beans with pepper garlic salt and nutritional yeast. And cooked then fried potato slices.

As always, thanks for looking!

God bless…
