Hi all, 

My name is Mike. I live in Bettendorf Iowa. I have been into the smoking for about 5 months now. I have a Char Griller wood pellet smoker, as my friend Smoking Mike says  " The set it and forget it smoker". 

I have tried several things and as soon as I get my deer back going to try venison.

Al,

Thank you. I am looking forward to seeing what others are cooking and how they do it. My wife says something happened to me when I hit 50.....I bought a smoker and started cooking and I also have gotten into wood working. Guess this is a mid life crisis!!

Wood working!.... you can make that cold smoker...haha. And you are a hawkeye. Sorry about the whoopin penn state put on you guys the other week....we'll not really. But beating osu last weekend was great! Looking forward to see what you smoke!
