Newbie in NYC - Smoker Vault 18

So I picked up a smoker vault 18 that I'm keeping at my father in law's place.  Both of us will be using it, and I have a feeling I'll be teaching him. 

I'm here to learn and pick other peoples brains.

Makes me hear that commercial with the cowboys sitting around, chiding the guy who gets salsa "from New York City!" I can picture a smoker on the balcony of a high rise. Better still on the roof with a pool.

Of course, I know it's much more likely in the yard of the thousands of houses in Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island or the Bronx.
