Hey guys! Just wanted to introduce myself. Live in East Central Florida.
I have a medium size CharGrill smoker that I use just about every weekend for smoking meats. Getting pretty good at it too

Just recently found some Cherry wood and can't wait to try it out on some Boston Butt.
Thanks for hosting a very informative site. Hope I can learn a lot from you guys.

You will definitely enjoy your time here. There are a lot of great people and some of the best information that you can find. If you have questions, just ask. be sure to take lots of pics, because we love to see what you are doing.

You will definitely like cherry wood. It is sweeter than apple, but makes everything a dark mahogany color. I like to mix with some pecan for long smokes.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yeah I got some Pecan a year ago and still have some left over... It's a little too harsh for me, apple is great but impossible to find around here. Can only get chips from local Ace Hardwear or Lowe's.

Finally someone who did it right. First off welcome Keith to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done.
