Newbie from mid-MO

Brand new living in the Jefferson City area. Just ordered the 30inch MES from amazon. So far not great luck and it hasn't even arrived yet! First one was stolen off the front porch luckily Amazon is replacing for free! Originally from IA and just looking to get started on this smoking experience. Definitely a lot of information to go through! Looking forward to learning as much as possible from the pros!

Welcome aboard Jake!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
