Newbie First Brisket

Hey Everyone,

I just joined this group today. I am going to attempt my first ever brisket. I'm very new to smoking so I'm just starting out with a little 2.5 pounder but I am really looking forward to see how it works.

Here it is just before I put it in, I will post another when its done later..... Here goes nothing.

The final result was pretty good I think for the first attempt! Everyone ate and enjoyed it, even my oldest daughter who is not a meat fan ate about 5 pieces of it! 

I cant wait to cook another one!

I cooked at 225 for 5 hours
