New WSM :) and question

Hi,

My new WSM, large one, arrived Friday late afternoon. I wont get a chance to really put it together until Monday :(. Can't wait.

I did have a question about an eyelet kit I came across for temp probes. Does it lose a lot of heat through the holes that you put in the sides of the smoker? Concerned about longer smoke sessions.

I saw Jeff"s post and all the responses. Man I can NOT wait to do some ribs and other goodies next weekend.

I can't imagine it would effect it much.

They should have sent you sme foil tape to seal the holes. There was some included with my DigiQ.

Is it possible to run probes through vent will save u that problem.

I run mine under the lid, no problems yet.
