Hi folks I came across this forum yesterday while surfing the net to find information about Traeger pellet smokers and figured some of you might know about them.
I am using a Texas smoker on a trailer with the fire box on the side and I use oak and cherry mixed for smoke. I like cooking with wood however I'm getting too old to be splitting the wood and watching the fire and would like to try a wood burning smoker that is eaiser to use.
Before I invest in a pellet smoker I would like some information from someone other than a sales person.
Have a wonderful day folks

Welcome to the forum, Gene! I am sure you will find the answers you need here! Just drop into the "Smoking Supplies and Equipment" section and open up a new topic there with your question. Hang around and enjoy our company! We're a friendly place with a sense of family. The only thing we take seriously is our food. Everything thing else is for the fun of just being here! So, open up that topic and watch the results! No salesman will call! :D
Cheers!

One of our members, Jim Minion uses a Traeger pellet smoker. You might want to send him a PM if you don't get a response to your post in the Wood Smoker forum.
